Enterprise Merchant Services Analyst

Overview

We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Merchant Services Analyst to oversee payment operations, merchant services, and PCI DSS compliance for a large, complex organization. This role partners with Finance, Treasury, IT, Information Security, and external vendors to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient payment solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for merchant services, payment processing, and PCI DSS compliance.
• Manage merchant accounts, payment technologies, and user access.
• Lead merchant onboarding, payment gateway implementations, and payment system upgrades.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Develop and maintain payment policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external banking/payment vendors to support business needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, processes, and the overall payment experience.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in merchant services, payment operations, treasury, banking operations, or financial services.
• 3+ years of PCI DSS compliance, merchant account administration, or payment card operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of payment gateways, POS systems, e-commerce payments, and merchant acquiring.
• Experience with audits, internal controls, risk management, and process improvement.
• Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• PCIP certification or similar.
• Experience with platforms such as Bluefin, PayConex, TouchNet, or comparable solutions.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, NIST, HIPAA, or other security frameworks.
• Experience in healthcare, higher education, or other regulated environments.
