Inventory Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support inventory accuracy and warehouse operations in Trenton, New Jersey. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a warehouse setting while handling physical inventory tasks. The person in this role will help maintain precise stock records, assist with scheduled counts, and ensure materials are tracked and stored properly.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records by receiving, counting, labeling, and tracking assets throughout the warehouse.

• Support annual physical inventory activities by preparing stock areas, verifying item quantities, and documenting discrepancies.

• Perform routine warehouse tasks such as organizing materials, moving stock, and keeping storage locations orderly and accessible.

• Inspect inventory for accuracy and condition, then report shortages, overages, or damaged items to the appropriate team members.

• Assist with asset control processes to ensure items are properly logged, stored, and available when needed.

• Update inventory information in tracking systems and complete related documentation in a timely manner.

• Coordinate with internal staff to locate materials, confirm stock availability, and support day-to-day inventory needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience handling asset inventory and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Ability to participate in annual physical inventory counts and reconcile quantity differences.
• Familiarity with warehouse duties, including stocking, organizing, and material handling.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate inventory data.
• Basic computer skills for entering inventory updates and completing documentation.
• Reliable communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members.

Compensation

$19.00-$20.00 Hourly
