Accounts Payable Specialist
Our client, a growing manufacturing organization in the Omaha area, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys high-volume invoice processing, and has strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices (approximately 1,000 invoices per week)
- Perform accurate 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Review and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain vendor records and assist with account reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely invoice approvals
- Support month-end accounts payable activities as needed
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience
- Strong experience with 3-way matching and purchase order processing
- Experience working in a high-volume AP environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- ERP system experience required; Great Plains experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Compensation
