Digital Designer

We are looking for a Digital Designer with video editing skills to join a marketing team and produce visually compelling content for digital channels. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who combines strong Canva expertise with strong video editing and motion design skills to create content that connects with Gen Z and entry-level audiences. The role calls for a trend-aware creative individual who can shape fresh visual ideas and turn raw footage into engaging, platform-ready social media assets.

Responsibilities:

• Create motion graphics, short-form videos, and branded visual assets that support marketing campaigns across social media platforms.

• Use Canva and other design tools to develop attention-grabbing creative tailored to student-focused and Gen Z audiences.

• Edit submitted video footage into engaging social media content optimized for format, pacing, and platform performance.

• Translate marketing goals into original visual concepts that strengthen brand presence and audience engagement.

• Apply animation, motion design, and visual storytelling techniques to produce dynamic digital content.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine creative direction, incorporate feedback, and deliver high-quality assets on schedule.

• Monitor emerging social media styles and content trends to keep creative output timely, relevant, and effective.

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Canva for creating digital graphics and marketing content.
• Demonstrated ability in video editing for social platforms, including pacing, formatting, and visual enhancement.
• Proficiency in motion graphics, animation, and motion design.
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and related creative tools.
• A sharp visual eye and the ability to design content that appeals to Gen Z and entry-level audiences.
• Experience turning raw footage into compelling, audience-ready video content.
• Ability to generate original creative ideas and adapt content for multiple digital channels.

Compensation

$23.75-$27.50 Hourly
