Human Resources (HR) Generalist (Laurie P)
Are you a well-rounded HR professional who enjoys supporting employees throughout the entire employment lifecycle? Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their team and play a key role in delivering HR support across multiple functional areas.
Position Summary:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for a broad range of human resources activities, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, HR compliance, HRIS maintenance, reporting, policy administration, and special projects. This role requires a hands-on HR professional who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a resource for employee questions
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of HR data within UKG
- Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data to support business decisions
- Assist with employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support performance management, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives
- Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and HR documentation
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives
- Partner with managers and employees to provide day-to-day HR support and guidance

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Hands-on experience with UKG required
Strong experience in:
- Recruiting and onboarding
- Benefits administration
- Employee relations
- HRIS administration and maintenance
- HR reporting and analytics
- Compliance and policy administration
- HR projects and process improvements
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus
- Experience supporting a multi-site workforce is a plus
Compensation
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
