Receptionist

We are looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations in Kirkland, Washington. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a positive first impression, handling incoming communications efficiently, and keeping the reception area running smoothly. The role requires strong phone etiquette, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a detail-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff members while maintaining an effective front-desk presence.
• Manage a multi-line phone system by answering, screening, and routing incoming calls accurately and courteously.
• Receive inbound calls, provide basic information, and take clear messages when needed.
• Support day-to-day reception activities, including monitoring the front area and assisting with general administrative tasks.
• Maintain an orderly and welcoming reception space for guests, employees, and vendors.
• Coordinate communication between callers, visitors, and internal teams to ensure smooth office operations.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist or front-desk support role.
• Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or phone system with 1 to 10 lines.
• Strong verbal communication skills and courteous telephone etiquette.
• Experience handling inbound calls in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable working in a part-time reception capacity.
• Reliable organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Compensation

$23.00-$27.00 Hourly
