Business Analyst
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support service operations and process improvement efforts for a services team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This long-term contract position focuses on gathering business needs, reviewing documentation, and translating findings into practical recommendations that improve customer service performance. The role works closely with stakeholders in an Agile environment to identify gaps, clarify requirements, and help deliver efficient, well-documented solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze business processes and stakeholder needs to define clear requirements and recommend practical improvements.
• Review documents, workflows, and operational materials to identify inconsistencies, risks, and opportunities for better performance.
• Partner with call center and customer service teams to understand challenges, evaluate service processes, and support solution planning.
• Facilitate discussions with business and project stakeholders to capture expectations, priorities, and functional needs.
• Conduct gap analysis to compare current operations with desired outcomes and outline actionable next steps.
• Support Agile Scrum activities by refining requirements, participating in planning sessions, and helping teams maintain alignment on deliverables.
• Create and maintain organized reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation using Microsoft Excel and other business tools.
• Track action items, summarize findings, and communicate updates that help teams make informed business decisions.
Qualifications:
• Experience in business analysis with the ability to gather, document, and interpret business requirements.• Background supporting call center or customer service operations in a business or project environment.
• Strong document review skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify process issues or missing information.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to perform gap analysis and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for organizing data, tracking information, and supporting analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Compensation
