Data Entry Clerk
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in company databases and systems. The ideal candidate has strong typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter data into internal databases, spreadsheets, and systems with speed and accuracy
- Review documents for errors, missing information, and inconsistencies
- Verify and update existing records as needed
- Maintain organized digital and paper files
- Generate reports and assist with basic recordkeeping tasks
- Respond to internal requests for information and support administrative tasks
- Ensure data confidentiality and security at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous data entry, administrative, or clerical experience preferred
- Strong typing and 10-key skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
