Location: Tulsa, OK (Daily commute to Muskogee, OK required)

Pay: 75k+

Schedule: Full-Time | 2-yr contract

Position Overview:

A growing construction company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Field Inspector to support field operations and ensure construction activities meet project specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements. This role is responsible for performing inspections, documenting findings, verifying workmanship, and supporting project teams in maintaining high standards throughout the construction process.


The ideal candidate will have strong construction knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to identify potential issues before they impact project timelines, costs, or quality. This position will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with approved plans and specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily field inspections to verify construction activities comply with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
  • Monitor workmanship, materials, and installation processes to ensure compliance with project standards
  • Review construction documents, blueprints, specifications, and approved submittals to verify field execution aligns with project requirements
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality issues, deficiencies, and areas requiring corrective action
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, daily logs, and quality control documentation
  • Maintain accurate records including inspection reports, photographs, testing documentation, and project files
  • Track corrective actions and verify completion of identified deficiencies
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and owners regarding quality concerns
  • Assist with punch list development, final inspections, and project closeout activities
  • Verify delivered materials meet approved specifications and project requirements
  • Support project turnover by organizing quality documentation, certifications, warranties, and inspection records
  • Participate in quality control meetings and provide updates on project progress and compliance
  • Promote adherence to company safety policies, quality standards, and construction best practices

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of construction field experience, quality control, inspection, or related construction background preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and field operations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents
  • Experience documenting field observations, inspections, and quality reports
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and potential issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with project teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction safety practices preferred
  • Quality control certifications (ACI, NICET, ICC, AWS, or similar) are a plus
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work in an active construction environment
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen


Preferred Backgrounds:

Candidates with experience as a Construction Inspector, Quality Control Technician, Field Engineer, Superintendent Assistant, Project Coordinator, or Construction Technician are encouraged to apply.


Compensation

$36.00-$40.00 Hourly
