SEO Marketing Specialist
Our client, a growing and innovative organization in the Phoenix area, is seeking an experienced SEO Marketing Specialist to drive organic search performance, improve website visibility, and support digital marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that increase qualified traffic, improve search engine rankings, and generate measurable business results.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical SEO knowledge with content optimization expertise and a data-driven approach to digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website performance.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for traffic growth and lead generation.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, metadata, internal linking structures, and user experience for search engines and users.
- Perform technical SEO audits and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues related to site architecture, indexing, crawlability, site speed, and mobile optimization.
- Monitor organic search performance and provide actionable insights using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Create and execute on-page and off-page optimization strategies, including backlink acquisition initiatives.
- Partner with content creators and marketing teams to develop SEO-focused content that aligns with business objectives.
- Track KPIs and prepare regular reports on rankings, traffic, conversions, and overall SEO performance.
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, emerging SEO trends, and industry best practices.
- Support broader digital marketing campaigns including PPC, email marketing, and social media initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience managing organic search programs.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO principles, on-page optimization, keyword strategy, and link-building practices.
- Experience with SEO and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or comparable platforms.
- Knowledge of website platforms such as WordPress and content management systems.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website optimization best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing local SEO campaigns and Google Business Profiles.
- Knowledge of PPC advertising, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and digital marketing strategy.
- Experience with e-commerce SEO or multi-location businesses.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms.
- SEO certifications from Google, HubSpot, SEMrush, or similar organizations.
