Deputy Title IX Coordinator
Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Administrator to support two prominent community colleges during a period of increased workload. This individual will partner closely with Human Resources and campus stakeholders to assist with investigations, ensure compliance with Title IX and Title V regulations, and provide support in a professional higher education environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with investigations involving Title IX and Title V matters.
- Support student conduct and compliance-related processes.
- Implement and coordinate supportive measures throughout investigations.
- Gather, review, and organize documentation related to investigative matters.
- Work collaboratively with HR, faculty, administrators, and campus stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and institutional policies.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and investigation-related documentation.
- Provide assistance with special projects and departmental coverage as needed.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Extensive experience working with Title IX and Title V regulations, preferably within California.
- Previous experience conducting or supporting workplace, student conduct, or compliance investigations.
- Strong understanding of supportive measures and investigative processes.
- Experience working in a higher education environment, such as a community college, university, or academic institution.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and case management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting community college or university HR departments.
- Background in compliance, employee relations, civil rights, student conduct, or Title IX programs.
- Knowledge of California higher education policies and procedures
Compensation
