Junior Accountant

A growing medical device company is looking to add a Junior Accountant to its finance team during an exciting period of expansion.

If you're looking for a position where you can strengthen your accounting foundation while learning from experienced finance professionals, this is an excellent opportunity. The company offers a collaborative environment where you'll gain exposure to general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close while supporting a business that continues to grow throughout Southern California.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with numbers, and taking ownership of projects while continuing to develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly close
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed
• Analyze financial transactions and research discrepancies
• Prepare spreadsheets and monthly reporting packages
• Assist with audit requests and special accounting projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs preferred
• Experience with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
