Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist
Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly growing commercial services company that is seeking a Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a busy accounting department.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers while utilizing their accounting skills. You'll play an important role in maintaining accurate billing, ensuring timely collections, and supporting the company's overall cash flow. Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute customer invoices
- Apply daily cash receipts and electronic payments
- Review customer contracts to ensure accurate billing
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
- Process billing adjustments, credits, and account maintenance
- Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve account questions
- Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliations
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or accounting support experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
- ERP software experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Compensation
