Accounts Receivable Clerk

Robert Half is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support a busy real estate company in Honolulu. This role is ideal for an individual with accounting or data entry experience who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist with billing, payment processing, collections, account maintenance, and various administrative functions within the Accounting Department. Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records in Excel and internal systems
• Set up and maintain customer accounts
• Assist with daily accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and process customer invoices and billing statements
• Record and apply customer payments accurately
• Follow up on outstanding balances and assist with collections activities
• Maintain organized customer files and account documentation
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account information
• Assist with reconciliations and account research as needed
• Support the Accounts Receivable team with special projects and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer account issues

Qualifications:

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of accounting, bookkeeping, or data entry experience
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide professional customer service
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Reliable, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
