General Accounting Manager
Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking a talented General Accounting Manager to our team in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
This is a fully on-site office-based position, not hybrid or remote.

General Accounting Manager Job Summary:
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will provide the ideal candidate with the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to work in a fast-paced environment and involves close interaction with various departments within the company and personnel throughout the Controllers’ organization. The General Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial budgeting and forecasting. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, and year-end preparation.
General Accounting Manager Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure accurate, timely, and complete financial reporting. Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors by coordinating audit planning, preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation, responding to audit requests, and ensuring the timely completion of annual financial statement audits. Monitor compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal accounting policies, and internal control requirements, recommending improvements as needed. Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic business initiatives.Participate in statistical and interim inventory counts as assigned by accounting department.Lead the Company's budgeting and forecasting processes by partnering with department leaders to develop annual budgets, prepare periodic forecasts, analyze financial variances, drive accountability for financial performance, and prepare and present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to executive management.Manages the day-to-day Accounts Payable process to ensure the timely and accurate payment of suppliers.Train, develop, and retain a well-qualified staff through the execution of a plan which includes recruitment, internal promotion, and evaluations.General Accounting Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience 2+ years of supervisory or management experience Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation Experience managing external audits Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsPreferred Qualifications:
CPA or MBA Manufacturing industry experience Experience with ERP systems (AS400/Infinium preferred) Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningTechnical Skills:
