Job Summary:
The Client Service Senior Associate is responsible for all aspects of senior administrative support for the Trust Officers, Private Wealth Advisors, Account Managers, and clients. This position assists in maintaining a high level of effective working relationships and provides processing of operational and administrative needs of assigned clients while monitoring execution of all transactions by operations support and vendors. The position also assists other team members with training and handles complex issues. The Client Service Senior Associate addresses complex client questions regarding transactions, processing issues, or other problems as requested and assists with the delivery of all products and services to clients. The Senior Associate will provide quality assurance oversight and is responsible for monitoring workflows for the team.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
Provides quality assurance oversight of transactional processing completed by the Client Service Associates I and II
Assures timely completion of daily transactions by monitoring the Client Services Team workflow and is responsible for training Client Service Associates I and II
Monitors and processes account transactions of assigned clients by working closely with Trust Officers, Private Wealth Advisors, and Account Managers to ensure completion of administrative tasks; monitors the approval process and distribution of funds
Assists Trust Officers, Private Wealth Advisors, and Account Managers with providing client relations by handling inbound and outbound client communications; identifies and escalates issues that require additional review and inquiry
Resolves complex operational issues working with the Trust Officers, Private Wealth Advisors, and Account Managers to ensure that services are delivered accurately and timely to clients
Supervises completion of other non-system related projects (estate evaluation, discretionary requests, insurance, tax payments, reports, volume processing, etc.)
Monitors and updates compliance matrices, customer contact matrices, and updates appropriate tracking reports
Coordinates with Relationship Managers, Tax Officer, outside accountants, and clients in the filing and payment process for the fiduciary and individual income taxes
Serves as backup to other positions on the team (Associate I, Associate II, Senior Associate)
Assists WM Support Services Team on system updates and changes; reviews and initiates procedure changes to improve workflow
Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred or a combination of experience and education
At least five years of prior trust administration/wealth management experience preferred
Experience with investments, taxes or the legal area is preferred
Completion of Cannon, ABA, Legal Assistant Program, or other trust-related courses desired
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Knowledge of legal/fiduciary responsibilities, securities processing, and trust operations preferred
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to process detail work accurately and in a timely manner
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn Bank and Wealth Management Trust Systems
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Base Salary Range: $58,000 - $69,000 plus annual bonus
