The newly formed Clinical Research Support Office, within the Senior Vice Chancellor of Health Science is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II. The individual in this role primary responsibilities include coordinating working with the PI and study team of record to screen, enroll and randomize study recruits. This individual will be responsible for study management duties, as required by protocol. Coordinator experience preferred. This position will require travel from in and around Pitt and UPMC campuses. The University reserves the right to assign additional duties not listed here. Conducts research assessments on study participants. Assists with and adheres to study protocols, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Assists with training staff on proper and best study research techniques as directed. Mentors and educates staff and student workers as directed. Ensures proper protocols are followed and quality assurance of research and related

Physical Effort

Standing and sitting for long periods. Walking around campus. Reading small print. Bending and lifting up to 10 pounds. Working under normal office lights. Walking around campus to attend meetings.
