Responsibilities
As a Survey Technician, you will support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables. You will report to the Project Manager and perform technical tasks utilizing the latest technology in the A/E/C industry. You will help increase land survey project efficiency and client satisfaction by:
- Taking an active role in supporting land surveying operations through GIS Map, App and Data Creation
- Assisting the GIS Department with data entry, manipulation and processing for both GIS and Land Surveying projects
- Monitoring GIS databases for quality assurance
- Carrying out initial QC of GIS deliverables according to standards and best practices
- Coordinating with supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are being met
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or similar field
- 0-1 years as a GIS Technician
- Basic knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Field Maps
- Understanding of Integrated GPS and GIS principals
- Python and Arcade Knowledge a plus
- Ability to work as part of a team
