Tax Manager
We're partnering with a large investment firm whose got a rare opening working directly for the CFO in a hands on Tax Management role. This person will serve as a key tax subject matter expert supporting the organization’s partnership, corporate, and individual K-1 reporting obligations. This is an ideal opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys being deeply involved in the work, improving process flow, and operating as a senior individual contributor rather than managing a team.

The Impact You’ll Make
- Lead the tax compliance process across partnerships, corporate entities, and individual K-1 reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and delivery of tax filings and investor reporting
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors to support tax compliance and planning initiatives
- Help drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and create efficiencies across the tax function
- Stay ahead of tax law and regulatory changes impacting investment structures and reporting requirements
- Support special projects and strategic tax matters in close partnership with the CFO

What You'll Bring to the table:
- 5+ years of recent, directly relevant tax experience
- Strong technical expertise in partnership tax, corporate tax, and individual tax reporting
- Deep experience with Schedule K-1s
- Background in investment management, private equity, hedge funds, asset management, or a related financial services environment
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a complex, fast-paced setting
High Preference for anyone with:
- CPA preferred
- Master’s in Taxation preferred
- Big 4 training/foundation highly valued
