HRIS Coordinator

Compensation: $19.79 to $22.91 Hourly

We are looking for an HRIS Coordinator to support human resources systems operations for a local government organization in California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can help maintain HR data integrity, support system improvements, and partner with HR, payroll, and benefits teams to improve daily processes. The role will contribute to HRIS analysis, implementation activities, and ongoing system coordination while ensuring accurate and reliable employee information.

Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day HRIS activities, including data maintenance, system updates, and user support across human resources functions.
• Assist with HRIS implementation efforts by coordinating tasks, validating data, and helping ensure smooth system adoption.
• Analyze HR and workforce data to identify issues, support reporting needs, and improve system performance.
• Partner with payroll, compensation, and benefits teams to maintain accurate employee records and resolve data discrepancies.
• Monitor system functionality, troubleshoot routine issues, and escalate complex concerns when needed.
• Prepare and maintain reports, audits, and documentation related to HRIS processes and compliance requirements.
• Support testing activities for system changes, upgrades, and enhancements to confirm accurate results.
• Help develop process improvements and recommend more efficient ways to manage HR information and workflows.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience working with HRIS platforms in a human resources or related environment.
• Hands-on experience supporting HRIS implementation, configuration, or post-launch system coordination.
• Working knowledge of HRIS analysis, data validation, and reporting practices.
• Experience using UltiPro HRIS or a comparable human resources information system.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and employee data management requirements.
• Understanding of compensation and benefits information as it relates to HR systems.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and support multiple priorities in a structured environment.

Compensation

$19.79-$22.91 Hourly
