Human Resources (HR) Director
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end HR due diligence efforts for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring employment-related matters are reviewed thoroughly from initial assessment through final deliverables.
• Assemble, validate, and maintain diligence materials, including supporting records and organized documentation needed for internal stakeholders and transaction partners.
• Evaluate HR compliance, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and administrative practices to identify potential risks, gaps, and follow-up actions tied to acquisition activity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external parties to gather information from multiple sources, track progress, and keep milestones moving despite shifting timelines.
• Provide informed review of international employment considerations, including transaction-related labor questions and country-specific workforce issues such as French employment law matters.
• Apply strong project management practices to oversee large volumes of sensitive data, prioritize requests, and deliver accurate outputs under changing conditions.
• Partner with business and HR leaders on acquisition management and integration planning, helping translate diligence findings into actionable people-related recommendations.
• Support HR processes within systems such as Workday and contribute to operational execution with a hands-on, detail-focused approach.
• Adapt quickly to evolving priorities while maintaining organization, responsiveness, and momentum throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience leading HR due diligence for mergers and acquisitions from kickoff through completion.• Strong background in employee relations, HR administration, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage acquisition-related projects involving multiple stakeholders, large document sets, and compressed or unpredictable deadlines.
• Experience preparing structured diligence files and supporting documentation with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
• Knowledge of international transaction considerations, with particular value placed on familiarity with French labor and employment topics.
• Hands-on working style with the ability to operate effectively in both strategic and detailed execution-oriented responsibilities.
• Preferred experience using Workday, ideally within a similarly complex or regulated business environment.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, adjust priorities quickly, and maintain quality in a fast-paced setting.
