Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customers with prompt, attentive service in Syracuse, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys handling high-volume calls, resolving questions efficiently, and entering order details accurately. The person in this role will serve as a reliable point of contact for customers while helping maintain a positive service experience through clear communication and strong follow-through.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to incoming customer calls courteously, providing accurate information and timely assistance.
• Place outbound calls as needed to follow up on requests, clarify order details, or communicate updates.
• Enter customer orders and related information carefully to ensure accuracy and efficient processing.
• Address service questions, concerns, and routine issues by identifying needs and guiding customers toward appropriate solutions.
• Maintain clear and complete records of customer interactions, order activity, and resolutions in the appropriate systems.
• Manage multiple inquiries in a fast-paced call center setting while meeting service expectations and response standards.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing role.
• Ability to handle a steady volume of inbound calls while maintaining a detail-oriented and helpful approach.
• Experience with order entry and reviewing details for completeness and accuracy.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly to customers.
• Comfortable making outbound calls for follow-up, confirmation, or issue resolution.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to document interactions efficiently in business systems.

Compensation

$20.00-$27.00 Hourly
