Recruiter

We are looking for a Recruiter to support hiring efforts for an organization in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. This is a Contract position expected to run from August through November, with the possibility of going permanent. The ideal candidate is quick to learn, comfortable working with applicant tracking systems, and able to identify strong talent efficiently for many different style roles.

Responsibilities:

• Manage recruiting activities across multiple openings, from sourcing candidates through interview coordination and hiring support.

• Build talent pipelines by identifying applicants with relevant experience through job boards, Paycor, referrals, and direct outreach.

• Evaluate candidate backgrounds and qualifications to determine alignment with role requirements and team needs.

• Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to maintain progress on active searches and address recruiting priorities.

• Use the applicant tracking system to organize candidate records, track activity, and maintain accurate hiring data.

• Develop working knowledge of the Paycor platform and share practical recommendations with the team on features that can improve recruiting workflows.

• Support hiring for roles that may require a high-volume approach while maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of recruiting or hiring experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to source candidates effectively and assess qualifications with speed and accuracy.

• Strong technical aptitude and confidence learning new recruiting systems and tools.

• Experience working within an applicant tracking system; familiarity with Paycor is preferred.

• Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting practices, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offer support.

• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities onsite Monday through Friday.

• Ability to adapt quickly, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively in a fast-moving team environment.
