Recruiter

We are looking for a part-time Recruiter to support a nonprofit organization in Culver City. This role will focus on managing recruiting activities at approximately 20 hours per week, helping the team attract, evaluate, and move talent through the hiring process efficiently. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across sourcing, applicant tracking systems, and high-volume recruiting environments. Candidate must have experience doing retail or high-volume turnover roles. 1 year experience in full-cycle recruiting including writing and placing ads, interviewing techniques, salary negotiation, and on-boarding. Experience using an applicant tracking systems and on-line recruitment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end hiring activities for assigned openings, from initial outreach through candidate selection and offer coordination.

• Build candidate pipelines by using creative sourcing strategies across multiple channels to identify suitable talent quickly.

• Review applications, assess candidate fit, and conduct screening conversations to present strong matches to hiring stakeholders.

• Coordinate interview scheduling and maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal partners throughout the process.

• Track recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system and keep records accurate, current, and organized.

• Support multiple requisitions at once while maintaining quality, responsiveness, and timely movement through the hiring workflow.

• Partner with hiring managers to clarify position needs, align on candidate profiles, and adjust search strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
• Skilled in sourcing qualified candidates using traditional and non-traditional means.
• Excellent writing skills to assist with job descriptions and reports.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to engage others and build relationships.
• Comfortable using technology and familiarity with applicant tracking software. 
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while being flexible as needs change.
• Ability to drive your own car to trainings and job fairs.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
