Paralegal
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and maintain complete records for institutional commercial real estate loans, ensuring files remain organized, current, and readily accessible.
• Coordinate loan-related activity by tracking maturity dates, reserve disbursements, consent matters, amendments, and ongoing communications with lenders and servicers.
• Prepare and assemble formal notice packages, servicing submissions, and supporting documentation for lender review and approval.
• Monitor legal and corporate compliance requirements for borrowing entities, including annual filings, good standing status, tax-related obligations, governance records, and consent conditions.
• Maintain entity documentation such as corporate books, ownership information, operating agreements, organizational charts, and records of member or structural changes.
• Support litigation and dispute matters by gathering records, organizing productions, maintaining privilege materials, developing timelines, and preparing hearing or case reference binders.
• Partner with outside counsel, executive leadership, accountants, property management teams, lenders, and loan servicers to facilitate timely legal and transactional follow-through.
• Build and preserve comprehensive electronic loan reference files for each asset, including servicing correspondence, cash management records, reserve documentation, assumptions, and modifications.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of paralegal experience, with substantial exposure to commercial real estate, loan administration, or related legal matters.• Demonstrated background supporting litigation activities, including discovery coordination, document organization, and trial or hearing preparation.
• Working knowledge of entity maintenance and compliance requirements for corporate or borrowing structures.
• Experience managing high-volume legal and transactional documentation with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with case management software and other systems used to organize legal records and matter tracking.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, outside counsel, lenders, servicers, and cross-functional business partners.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
