Business Systems Analyst
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Business Systems Analyst to support a high-impact enterprise systems initiative centered on Concur deployment and optimization, with integration touchpoints across NetSuite ERP and ADP. This is a fully remote, temporary opportunity with strong potential to convert to a contract-to-hire role.
This position is ideal for a systems professional who thrives in a lean environment, can work independently, and is comfortable owning the full lifecycle of business systems work—from discovery and process mapping through configuration, testing, documentation, training, and go-live support. This is not a pure project management or oversight role; we are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and execute.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business systems analysis for the Concur deployment, including requirements gathering, current-state and future-state process mapping, and configuration validation against business requirements
- Own the overall test strategy and execution, including test plans, test scripts, UAT coordination, defect tracking and triage, and regression testing through go-live
- Produce and maintain critical project and operational documentation
- Support integration testing between Concur and NetSuite, as well ADP
- Partner closely with IT and Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into system configuration and validated test coverage
- Perform hands-on configuration work directly within supported systems
- Drive change management activities, including stakeholder support and end-user training
- Ensure systems and changes align with compliance, audit, and control requirements, including SOX-related considerations
Qualifications:
- Strong background as a Business Systems Analyst with deep hands-on systems delivery experience
- Direct Concur implementation experience
- Experience with Concur, ADP, and NetSuite ERP is required
- Pharma-specific experience required, ideally in a precommercial-to-commercial environment
- Demonstrated expertise in systems testing, including test script creation, UAT planning and execution, defect management
- Direct exposure to Sunshine Act / Open Payments
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to independently create functional specs, SOPs, and training content
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction in a lean, fast-paced setting
- Availability to work West Coast/PST hours regardless of location
Compensation
