Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a team in Dayton, Ohio in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This position supports document-based customer service operations by reviewing benefit-related paperwork, confirming accuracy, and helping ensure members and dependents are handled according to established guidelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with forms and reports, and able to provide dependable support in a fast-paced service environment.
Responsibilities:
• Review incoming benefit and eligibility documents, confirm completeness, and process them according to established procedures.
• Prepare and distribute outbound correspondence related to coverage updates, status changes, and required member documentation.
• Examine insurance contracts and plan materials to determine coverage details and eligibility status.
• Validate spousal fee information and forward accurate records for downstream processing.
• Generate and monitor internal and vendor reports to support daily service operations and follow-up activities.
• Maintain and update termination-related records to keep account information current.
• Support inbound and outbound customer service activity, including handling questions related to forms, enrollment, and account updates.
• Perform additional administrative and service tasks as needed to support team goals and workload demands.

Qualifications:
• Experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or high-volume service environment.• Ability to manage order entry, document handling, and data review with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable answering inbound calls and making outbound calls as part of routine customer support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly and professionally.
• Ability to interpret policy information, follow defined procedures, and make accurate eligibility-related decisions.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and the ability to work across reports, forms, and service platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven setting.
Compensation
