Grant Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Review grant budgets and compare expenditures against approved funding plans to identify variances and support sound financial oversight.
• Prepare timely financial and program-related reports for internal stakeholders and external funding sources.
• Monitor grant activity to confirm that expenses align with sponsor rules, contract terms, and organizational policies.
• Maintain organized records of grant documentation, including supporting files needed for reporting and audit review.
• Partner with finance and program teams to track funding usage, clarify spending questions, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with audit preparation by gathering documentation, validating transactions, and responding to information requests.
• Analyze grant data and provide insights that help leadership understand budget performance and funding status.
• Support compliance efforts by reviewing submissions and processes to help ensure adherence to donor or agency guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting grant administration, grant accounting, or financial analysis in a regulated or compliance-driven environment.• Ability to review budgets, reconcile spending activity, and interpret financial data with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of grant compliance standards, reporting practices, and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in preparing clear financial summaries and maintaining accurate supporting records.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across finance, program, and audit-related teams.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize assignments in a Contract position environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
