Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities using Adaptive Planning and advanced Excel models, with particular focus on production assumptions and scenario development.

• Develop and refresh rolling cost forecasts by facility and product line, incorporating grape supply expectations, bulk inventory levels, bottling timing, and planned product launches.

• Estimate annual grape costs across vineyards, varietals, and brand allocations by analyzing contracted volumes, projected yields, farming expense patterns, and external purchase agreements.

• Review monthly standard costs against actual results, investigate cost variances, and recommend updates to rates or assumptions when needed.

• Work closely with winemaking and accounting partners to support accurate inventory valuation and proper cost layering within financial records.

• Prepare and support monthly operating reports, quarterly board materials, external reporting packages, and ad hoc presentations for management.

• Create performance reporting for operations, highlighting budget alignment, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities through clear financial insights.

• Produce vineyard-level analyses covering cost per acre, cost per ton, yield performance, and related trends across owned and leased properties.

• Build scenario models for blend choices, new product opportunities, product portfolio decisions, and capital investments such as vineyard development, replanting, or acquisitions.


Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP& A, or a related finance role.

• Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to build and maintain detailed planning models.

• Experience working with Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning tools.

• Knowledge of cost of goods sold, inventory forecasting, and operational finance concepts.

• Ability to perform trend analysis, ad hoc reporting, and scenario-based decision support.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.


Compensation

$120,000.00-$140,000.00 Yearly
