Property Administrator
Responsibilities:
• Manage rent-related administrative tasks and work closely with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial documentation and payment records.
• Prepare, track, and complete resident recertification files in accordance with affordable housing and program compliance requirements.
• Draft and distribute non-compliance correspondence while maintaining thorough and up-to-date tenant files.
• Coordinate and prioritize service requests for both residential and commercial spaces to support timely issue resolution.
• Process invoices and organize supporting documentation to ensure accurate and efficient recordkeeping.
• Oversee unit turnover activities by tracking readiness, coordinating schedules, and supporting occupancy goals.
• Partner with maintenance staff to follow up on repairs, property needs, and unit preparation activities.
• Assist with sourcing and coordinating outside vendors when additional services or specialized work are needed.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in property management within affordable housing or a closely related housing environment.• Working knowledge of tax credit, HUD, or other regulated housing programs and compliance processes.
• Experience handling recertifications, resident files, rent support tasks, and general property administration duties.
• Familiarity with Yardi is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other standard office software.
• Comfortable using general office equipment such as scanners, copiers, and fax machines.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines and respond effectively to operational needs.
