Payroll Specialist

• Process weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, or monthly payrolls
• Review and audit timesheets, attendance, and pay adjustments
• Maintain employee payroll records and update pay-related changes
• Calculate overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
• Administer payroll taxes, wage garnishments, and benefit withholdings
• Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end or year-end reporting
• Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and tax forms
• Support compliance with labor laws and internal controls
• Partner with HR and accounting teams on employee data and payroll reporting

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience
• Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and wage/hour compliance
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG, Paychex, SAP, or Oracle
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data reconciliation
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred
• CPP certification may be preferred for some roles
