Commercial Property Manager
Job Description
Our client, a well-established commercial real estate company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. This individual will be responsible for maintaining strong tenant relationships, managing property performance, coordinating vendors, and ensuring properties are operated efficiently while maximizing asset value.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial office, retail, and/or industrial properties.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, responding promptly to questions, maintenance requests, and lease-related matters.
- Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, capital improvement projects, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure buildings are well maintained, safe, and compliant with company standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate service agreements, and oversee contractor performance.
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, monitor expenses, and review monthly financial reports.
- Approve invoices, code expenses, and ensure timely payment of vendors.
- Partner with leasing teams regarding tenant move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and tenant improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with lease agreements, insurance requirements, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership to develop strategies that improve tenant satisfaction and property performance.
- Prepare property reports and provide regular operational updates to ownership and asset management.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of commercial property management experience.
- Experience managing office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use commercial properties.
- Strong understanding of commercial leases, CAM reconciliations, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple properties and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, Building Engines, or similar platforms is preferred.
- CPM, RPA, or other property management certifications are a plus.

Compensation
