Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Our client in San Diego, CA is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Human Resources Generalist, This role is ideal for an HR professional with experience supporting core HR functions, employee relations, onboarding, and HR systems in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day human resources operations and employee relations
- Assist with onboarding, new employee documentation, and orientation processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and up to date
- Support benefits administration, performance management, and policy communication
- Assist with recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Process personnel changes and help ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR programs, policies, and processes
- Generate HR reports and support audits, tracking, and special projects
- Partner with leadership and employees to support a positive workplace environment
- Assist with HRIS data entry and system updates
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of human resources experience in a generalist or broad HR support role
- Knowledge of employee onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management
- Experience with HRIS systems; Workday experience is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving, adaptability and continuous learning, and communication are among the soft skills leaders value most
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Compensation
