Summary
The Bid Analyst team will is responsible for managing and executing all formal bidding activities, including Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Requests for Quotation (RFQ). This team serves as a central coordinator across cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely bid submissions. The Bid Analyst plays a critical role in supporting revenue growth by driving high-quality, competitive bid response and maintaining strong internal alignment throughout the bid lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to all formal bid requests, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ submissions.
- Review and interpret bid requirements, ensuring full understanding of scope, compliance criteria, and evaluation methodology.
- Manage end-to-end bid processes from intake through submission and award notification.
- Develop and maintain standardized bid response templates, content libraries, and best practices.
- Coordinate and lead bid kickoff calls with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Contracts, Legal, Pricing, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive alignment on bid strategy, timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities.
- Track progress against milestones and proactively manage risks to deadlines.
- Prepare comprehensive bid workbooks capturing:
- Product attributes and specifications
- Pricing models and financial data
Systems Experience
- Enter and maintain bid (campaign/tender) records in Salesforce/Alexis for tracking, reporting, and document storage.
- Support reporting and analytics on bid performance, win/loss ratios, and pipeline activity.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal development, sales operations, contracts, or a related field
- Experience working with RFP/RFQ processes in a corporate or government contracting environment preferred
Salary Range: $65K - $75K (plus bonus)
