Revolution is seeking a reliable and safety focused Spot Driver to join our Terre Haute team. This position plays a critical role in supporting plant operations by safely transporting trailers, materials, and finished goods between company facilities and nearby warehouses. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely move trailers, materials, and products between Revolution facilities and designated warehouse locations.
- Perform trailer spotting activities to support production and shipping operations.
- Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Operate trailer dollies and other equipment as required.
- Provide cross training and support for other Spot Drivers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Support plant operations and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean and insurable driving record required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience required.
- At least 6 months of experience in a driving a manual transmission truck.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to safely operate tractor trailers and trailer dollies.
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly climb, bend, stoop, and enter and exit equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
