Inventory Clerk

We are looking for an organized Inventory Clerk to support material control and inventory accuracy for a Contract position in East Dorset, Vermont. This role focuses on monitoring stock movement, maintaining reliable records, and helping ensure parts and assets are available to keep assembly line operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with shipping and receiving activities, documentation, and routine inventory audits in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking incoming, stored, and issued materials across operational areas.
• Support assembly line activity by ensuring components and supplies are counted, available, and properly documented.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory processes to verify stock accuracy.
• Record and reconcile asset inventory information, investigating discrepancies and updating inventory data as needed.
• Process purchase order-related inventory transactions and confirm received items match supporting documentation.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving tasks, including logging outbound shipments and organizing inbound deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation to support accurate movement of materials and completed goods.
• Work with internal teams to resolve inventory variances and improve day-to-day material tracking practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory control, stockroom support, or a similar warehouse-related position.
• Working knowledge of inventory tracking methods, asset counting, and physical inventory procedures.
• Familiarity with assembly line material support and the flow of parts in a production setting.
• Ability to handle shipping and receiving documentation with strong attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing purchase orders, shipment logs, and related inventory records.
• Basic computer skills for entering, updating, and verifying inventory data accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple inventory tasks with minimal supervision.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
