ERP Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager Consultant to guide a long-term engagement supporting an S/4HANA program across the Americas region in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This position focuses on Finance and Controlling process delivery, combining functional expertise with project coordination to help drive design, validation, and deployment activities. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP FICO knowledge, a practical understanding of manufacturing operations, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

The day to day responsibilities include:

• Lead planning and coordination for S/4HANA Finance and Controlling workstreams, ensuring milestones, priorities, and deliverables stay aligned with program goals.

• Partner with business teams to evaluate current processes, define functional solutions, and translate operational needs into clear system requirements.

• Oversee development support, test preparation, execution follow-up, and implementation readiness for FI and CO related capabilities.

• Serve as the primary functional resource for Asset Accounting, including configuration considerations for asset structures, depreciation setup, and core transaction flows.

• Manage integration activities across Finance, Controlling, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and related modules to support end-to-end business performance.

• Support ledger design and governance by working with leading and non-leading general ledger structures within the S/4HANA environment.

• Coordinate quality reviews, issue tracking, and defect resolution during regression, user validation, and other testing cycles.

• Contribute to rollout planning, resource alignment, and stakeholder communication for regional deployment efforts within a manufacturing setting.

• Provide guidance on cost center accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, and profitability reporting to strengthen finance process execution.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

• 5+ years of experience working with SAP FICO, including Financial Accounting and Controlling process delivery.

• Hands-on background with SAP S/4HANA functional design, business process analysis, testing, and implementation support.

• Demonstrated expertise in FI-AA, including asset accounting structures, depreciation concepts, and related financial transactions.

• Strong understanding of FI-CO integration with connected business areas such as SD and MM.

• Experience supporting CO functions such as cost centers, profit centers, and internal orders; familiarity with CO-PA is a plus.

• Knowledge of leading and non-leading ledger configuration in SAP environments.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business and project teams.

• Experience in automotive or broader manufacturing environments is preferred; familiarity with Fiori apps or Joule is beneficial.
