Legal Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and reporting support for a legal resource management team in Columbus, OH. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and confident handling data-driven tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on maintaining attorney availability reporting, sharing critical business information on schedule, and supporting daily operational needs. Success in this position will come from strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new tools quickly.
Responsibilities:
• Generate recurring and ad hoc reports using available reporting tools and tailor output to meet changing business priorities.
• Share time-sensitive reporting and updates with stakeholders accurately and within established deadlines.
• Maintain and support tracking of attorney availability data to help keep resource information current and reliable.
• Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Legal Resource Management team across a range of operational activities.
• Review datasets to spot inconsistencies, emerging patterns, and areas that require follow-up or correction.
• Contribute ideas for improving workflows and help resolve process-related challenges through practical solutions.
• Partner closely with an assigned specialist to support ongoing coordination and execution of team priorities.
• Learn client-specific tools and reporting practices through remote training and apply them effectively in daily work.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience with reporting, metrics, or data analysis in an administrative or operational setting.• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distribute information accurately.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and sound critical thinking in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while remaining responsive and dependable.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting platforms is preferred, though training will be provided.
Compensation
