Accounting Manager
Responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly close cycle to ensure financial results are recorded completely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Oversee general ledger activity, including the review and approval of journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and escalating issues when needed.
• Coordinate audit readiness efforts by organizing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and validating financial support materials.
• Monitor accounting records and reporting outputs to help ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable standards.
• Partner with finance and cross-functional teams to address post-acquisition accounting alignment and provide support for integration-related activities when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and management reporting needs related to operational and strategic priorities.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience managing month-end close activities in a corporate accounting environment.• Strong working knowledge of general ledger processes, journal entries, and account reconciliation practices.
• Experience supporting financial statement audits and responding to auditor documentation requests.
• Ability to review financial data carefully, identify inconsistencies, and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet tools used for reporting and reconciliations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
