Digital Asset Manager
We are looking for a detail-oriented Digital Asset Manager to join a food and food processing organization in New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position will focus on organizing large volumes of creative content, improving asset discoverability, and supporting teams that rely on accurate, accessible digital files. The ideal candidate enjoys structured work, brings a strong sense of order to digital content environments, and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to maintain a well-governed asset ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
• Organize and maintain digital assets across brand and marketing libraries to ensure files are easy to locate, use, and manage.
• Build and refine metadata standards, tagging structures, and taxonomy frameworks that improve searchability and consistency across the asset collection.
• Partner with marketing, creative, and digital stakeholders to understand content needs and align asset management practices with business use cases.
• Support the setup and day-to-day administration of a digital asset management platform, including asset ingestion, categorization, and quality control.
• Review existing digital files and images, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and apply naming conventions and metadata updates where needed.
• Coordinate with external platform partners and internal teams to help establish effective workflows, permissions, and organizational structures within the system.
• Monitor digital content governance practices to help maintain accuracy, security, and usability across stored assets.
• Assist with documentation and process guidance so teams can follow consistent standards for uploading, tagging, and retrieving assets

Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience working with digital asset management, digital content operations, or a related function.• Hands-on familiarity with metadata, meta tagging, taxonomy development, and digital file organization.
• Experience managing digital images, creative assets, or other branded content within structured libraries or DAM environments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle repetitive, process-driven work accurately and efficiently.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including creative, digital, and marketing partners.
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to improve asset accessibility and consistency.
• Proficiency with digital production workflows and content management best practices.
Compensation
