Human Resources (HR) Generalist

White Plains, NY 10601, US Full Time
Compensation: $70 to $80 Yearly

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to support a broad range of people operations in White Plains, New York. This position plays an important role in hiring, employee support, policy administration, and day-to-day HR coordination. The ideal candidate brings strong interpersonal judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to manage HR processes accurately while contributing to a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities:
• Lead full-cycle hiring activities, including candidate review, interview coordination, and support through the selection process.
• Design and deliver welcoming onboarding and orientation experiences that help new employees integrate successfully into the organization.
• Foster a constructive work environment by addressing employee concerns and contributing to engagement and retention efforts.
• Administer HR policies and practices while helping ensure alignment with applicable employment laws and workplace standards.
• Maintain and revise employee handbooks, procedural documents, and related HR guidance materials as needed.
• Partner with supervisors on performance review activities, employee development planning, and performance improvement support.
• Manage employee information within the HRIS, keeping records current, organized, and accurate.
• Produce recurring HR reports and workforce metrics to support operational and leadership decision-making.
• Coordinate with payroll and benefits partners to help ensure accurate compensation processing and timely resolution of employee questions.
• Support daily HR administrative functions and contribute to broader departmental priorities and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Experience in human resources administration with exposure to multiple functional areas such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee support.
• Working knowledge of employee relations practices and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and coordination with payroll-related processes.
• Proficiency using HRIS platforms to update records, track employee data, and generate reports.
• Understanding of employment law compliance and HR policy administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with employees, managers, and HR leadership.
• High level of organization and attention to detail when managing documentation and competing priorities.

Compensation

$70,000.00-$80,000.00 Yearly
