Contracts Manager
We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. This role will take the lead in bringing structure to a high volume of existing agreements, with a strong emphasis on vendor-related documentation and contract governance. The position will also help strengthen compliance readiness, improve record accuracy, and support effective use of contract management tools across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Review, sort, and reconcile a substantial inventory of active and historical contracts to create an organized and reliable repository.
• Prioritize vendor-related agreements, including nondisclosure agreements and services contracts, to confirm records are complete and properly maintained.
• Identify duplicated files, missing documentation, and inconsistent contract records, then resolve gaps to improve overall accuracy.
• Design and implement a practical contract administration workflow that supports consistent handling of agreements going forward.
• Maintain and optimize contract data within ContractSafe to improve visibility, accessibility, and document control.
• Assist with adoption of additional software used to support contract organization and lifecycle management.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure contract files meet documentation standards and align with compliance expectations.
• Contribute to audit readiness efforts by strengthening contract recordkeeping and reducing exposure related to incomplete or disorganized agreements
Qualifications:
• Experience managing commercial contracts through drafting, administration, review, or negotiation activities.• Working knowledge of vendor agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and services contracts.
• Strong contract management and contract administration skills with close attention to detail.
• Ability to organize large volumes of documentation and establish efficient, repeatable processes.
• Familiarity with contract repository tools such as ContractSafe or similar contract lifecycle management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to identify documentation issues and improve contract file integrity.
• Legal background as an attorney, paralegal, or contracts specialist is highly relevant for this role.
