Accounts Payable Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys ensuring payments are accurate, timely, and compliant? We are seeking an Accounts Payable Representative to join our Payments Team and play a key role in processing vendor payments, conducting audits, and supporting additional accounting functions as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Process vendor payments accurately and on schedule
• Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Audit payment transactions to identify discrepancies and ensure proper controls are followed
• Research and resolve payment issues, vendor inquiries, and accounting discrepancies
• Reconcile payment activity and assist with month-end processes
• Maintain accurate vendor records and payment documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to facilitate payment processing
• Assist with reporting, special projects, and additional accounting responsibilities as assigned
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance payment and audit processes

Qualifications:

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in Accounts Payable, payment processing, or a related accounting function
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with payment auditing, reconciliations, or compliance review processes
• Experience working with ERP or accounting software systems
