Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support a logistics operation through a contract assignment. This position combines high-volume recruiting with on-site employee support, requiring someone who is comfortable building relationships on the warehouse floor as well as managing hiring activity from start to finish. The role is well suited for a hands-on recruiting specialist who can engage candidates, partner with operations leaders, and help create a positive employee experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end hiring efforts for hourly and frontline operations roles, including warehouse associates, forklift operators, and floor supervisors.
• Review applications, conduct candidate screenings, and move suitable talent efficiently through each stage of the selection process.
• Source prospective candidates through multiple channels to build strong pipelines for current and upcoming staffing needs.
• Spend regular time in operational areas to connect with employees and managers, gather feedback, and support day-to-day employee relations matters.
• Partner closely with site leadership to understand workforce demands, align recruiting priorities, and improve hiring outcomes.
• Manage recruiting activity and candidate records within Workday, ensuring accuracy and timely updates throughout the process.
• Promote the employer brand through effective candidate engagement and a positive hiring experience from first contact to onboarding.
• Support a visible, on-site people-focused presence by balancing recruiting responsibilities with direct interaction across the facility.

Qualifications:

• Experience in talent acquisition with a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting.
• Background recruiting for high-volume or operations-based environments such as logistics, warehousing, or distribution.
• Ability to source, screen, and assess candidates for a range of frontline and supervisory positions.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking or HR systems, including experience with Workday.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with employees, candidates, and business leaders on site.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on role that requires time on the floor rather than remaining at a desk for most of the day.
• Familiarity with employee relations support in a fast-paced workplace.
• Strength in talent branding and delivering a detail-oriented candidate experience.

Compensation

$24.70-$28.60 Hourly
