UX/UI

We are looking for a UX/UI specialist to shape and enhance a mobile loyalty experience for a real estate and property organization based in Los Angeles, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity will focus on improving key app journeys, strengthening usability across iOS and Android, and turning customer behavior insights into thoughtful design solutions. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders and an external agency to deliver accessible and conversion-oriented experiences that support engagement and retention.

Responsibilities:
• Work alongside an external agency to evaluate the current loyalty app experience, challenge recommendations where needed, and help define the most valuable design improvements.
• Drive the in-house design of approved enhancements for mobile experiences across iOS and Android, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly interface.
• Use customer behavior data and performance insights in partnership with Loyalty and IT teams to identify priorities and inform design decisions.
• Design and refine end-to-end user journeys such as onboarding, account creation, card linking, offer browsing, redemption steps, notifications, and rewards tracking.
• Develop clear wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that communicate solutions effectively to stakeholders and developers.
• Improve information architecture and interaction patterns to minimize friction, reduce abandonment, and strengthen overall usability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align designs with technical requirements and platform-specific standards while supporting efficient implementation.
• Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure digital experiences reflect brand expectations and business objectives.
• Contribute to usability reviews, experimentation efforts, and iterative design updates based on testing outcomes and user feedback.
• Enhance design system elements when needed to support consistency in visual language, accessibility, and interaction behavior.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of UX/UI design experience, including significant work on mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
• Demonstrated success improving conversion-oriented user flows such as onboarding, registration, and opt-in experiences.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Figma, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design for mobile products.
• Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and cross-functional partners within agile delivery environments.
• Ability to interpret quantitative or behavioral data and apply findings to practical design improvements.
• Solid understanding of customer journey mapping, usability principles, and cross-platform interaction design.
• Familiarity with accessibility considerations and consistent design patterns across mobile ecosystems.
• Experience with loyalty programs, fintech-related features, personalization strategies, or card-linked experiences is preferred.

Compensation

$47.50-$55.00 Hourly
