Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a short-term Contract assignment in Paso Robles, California. This position is fully office-based and focuses on converting physical records into organized digital files through accurate scanning and data entry. The assignment is expected to last from approximately two weeks up to two months, making it a strong fit for someone who can quickly adapt and maintain consistent accuracy in a structured work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Scan and digitize paper documents while ensuring files are clear, complete, and properly organized.
• Enter information into computer systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Review documents for legibility, completeness, and correct indexing before saving or filing them digitally.
• Maintain orderly electronic records so information can be retrieved efficiently when needed.
• Handle confidential files with care and follow established office procedures for document management.
• Perform routine quality checks to verify that entered data matches source materials.
• Support daily in-office workflow during standard business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in data entry or a closely related administrative support role.
• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter both text and numeric information accurately.
• Comfortable using computers, scanners, and basic office software in a detail-focused setting.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and consistency throughout the day.
• Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail when handling records and files.
• Ability to work on-site in Paso Robles, California during regular office hours.
• Reliable communication skills and a dependable approach to meeting project timelines.

Compensation

$18.21-$21.09 Hourly
