Facilities Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate day-to-day facilities support activities to help ensure the workplace remains safe, organized, and fully operational.
• Monitor conference room readiness by arranging spaces, addressing setup needs, and resolving basic room-related issues for employees and visitors.
• Use a computerized maintenance management system to log service requests, update work order status, and maintain accurate facilities records.
• Partner with vendors, building contacts, and internal teams to help schedule repairs, preventive maintenance, and general facility services.
• Track facilities activities and documentation with attention to accuracy, including maintenance updates, room usage support, and service follow-up.
• Assist with administrative support tied to department operations, including timekeeping-related coordination within systems such as Kronos when required.
• Respond to routine facilities concerns in a timely manner and escalate more complex building or maintenance issues to the appropriate contacts.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in a facilities, office operations, or workplace support role.• Working knowledge of CMMS platforms and computerized maintenance tracking processes.
• Experience supporting conference rooms, including room setup, coordination, or issue resolution.
• Familiarity with facilities coordination tasks such as service request tracking, vendor scheduling, and maintenance follow-up.
• Ability to manage multiple requests efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using business systems and administrative tools, including Kronos Timekeeping System or similar platforms.
• Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented, customer-focused approach to internal support.
Compensation
