Compensation: $85 to $95 Yearly

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a growing team in Louisville, Kentucky, where this position offers strong potential to develop into a more senior-level finance role. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys translating financial data into clear business insights while supporting accurate reporting and close activities. The role also provides the chance to take ownership of existing workflows, strengthen reporting processes, and contribute to cross-functional financial projects.

Responsibilities:
• Manage key activities tied to the monthly close cycle, ensuring deadlines are met and financial information is recorded accurately.
• Prepare recurring financial reports that help leadership evaluate business performance and make informed decisions.
• Monitor revenue results, investigate reporting trends, and provide meaningful analysis on performance drivers.
• Conduct variance reviews by comparing actual results against expectations and clearly explain notable differences.
• Support organizational reporting needs by compiling, validating, and presenting financial data for internal stakeholders.
• Improve the accuracy of revenue recognition through detailed analysis, account reconciliations, and resolution of revenue-related discrepancies across multiple campuses and the broader college environment.
• Use data analysis techniques to identify patterns, exceptions, and opportunities for stronger financial oversight.
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses that support operational and strategic finance initiatives.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and reporting quality.

Qualifications:

• Experience in financial analysis with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
• Working knowledge of financial modeling and the ability to support planning and decision-making through quantitative analysis.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close activities and related financial reporting responsibilities.
• Strong capability in variance analysis, including identifying root causes behind performance fluctuations.
• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis in response to evolving business needs and leadership requests.
• Proficiency in data mining and working with large data sets to uncover trends, exceptions, and actionable insights.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in reporting, reconciliations, and revenue analysis.

Compensation

$85,000.00-$95,000.00 Yearly
