Temporary Recruiter

We are looking for an experienced contract Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a short-term contract opportunity in San Diego, California. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can manage recruiting activities from initial outreach through final offer stages. The role will focus on building strong candidate pipelines, partnering with hiring teams, and delivering an efficient and thorough recruitment process. This will be a full time, hybrid role with a minimum of one day required in office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned openings, from intake discussions and sourcing strategy through offer coordination and onboarding support.

• Develop and maintain talent pipelines by proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying candidates through multiple sourcing channels.

• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, align on candidate profiles, and provide market-driven recruiting guidance.

• Manage a high volume of requisitions while maintaining quality, responsiveness, and a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

• Conduct candidate screenings and coordinate interviews, ensuring timely communication and smooth progression through each hiring stage.

• Maintain accurate applicant data, workflow updates, and recruiting documentation within the applicant tracking system.

• Monitor recruiting metrics and pipeline activity to help improve efficiency, visibility, and hiring outcomes.

• Support recruiting-related process updates or system-related changes as needed while ensuring continuity in day-to-day hiring operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3+ years) managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple stages of the hiring process.

• Strong background in candidate sourcing, including direct outreach and pipeline development.

• Experience in corporate recruiting environments with the ability to partner effectively with internal stakeholders.

• Demonstrated success handling high-volume hiring demands while balancing competing priorities.

• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred) and maintaining accurate recruiting records.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage candidates and hiring teams professionally.

• Ability to stay organized, work independently, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
