Office Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to support daily front-desk and administrative operations in Boise, Idaho. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience for patients while keeping office processes organized and accurate. The role involves handling reception activities, managing documentation, and supporting communication among patients, providers, and office staff.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients upon arrival, manage the check-in process, and provide attentive service throughout each interaction.
• Review coverage details, confirm insurance information, and process patient payments with accuracy and care.
• Keep patient documentation current by updating records and maintaining electronic files in an organized manner.
• Support administrative workflows by preparing referrals, assisting with authorization requests, and completing general office tasks.
• Serve as a communication link among patients, clinical providers, and internal staff to help ensure timely follow-up.
• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to routine inquiries, and direct messages to the appropriate team members.
• Scan, file, and organize documents to maintain accessible and accurate office records.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in an office assistant, receptionist, or similar administrative support role.• Ability to manage front-desk responsibilities while delivering courteous customer service.
• Experience handling inbound calls, scheduling-related communication, or general clerical support.
• Familiarity with document scanning, electronic record maintenance, and basic office filing practices.
• Strong attention to detail when verifying information, updating records, and processing payments.
• Comfortable using standard office systems and digital tools in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with patients, providers, and office staff.
Compensation
